About Campus Mobility
Welcome to Campus Mobility! This resource is meant to help students with mobility challenges explore the top 20 most wheelchair-accessible colleges in the U.S. Our goal is to provide honest, detailed, and practical information so students can make informed decisions about their education. From housing and campus navigation to disability services, transportation, and adaptive extracurriculars, we cover all the aspects that impact daily life on campus. We want students to know not just which schools are accessible on paper, but which ones truly support independence and inclusion.
We also believe in amplifying real voices. That's why we offer a feedback form where students can share their experiences, helping future students get an inside look at what life at college would truly be like. We're committed to making the college search process less stressful and more empowering for wheelchair users, providing up-to-date information, practical tips, and advocacy resources so every student can thrive academically and socially.
About the Creator
My name is Yasmeen Dowell, a 19-year-old who was attending Mississippi State University when my life changed after a car accident that left me with a C6 spinal cord injury and paralyzed from the neck down. Since then, I've become focused on learning and sharing what real accessibility looks like in higher education. I created this website to break down how different colleges actually support students with disabilities, so others can get clear, honest information when choosing a school.
